Tholkobad is a scenic village situated about 46 km south of
Manoharpur in
West Singhbhum District of
Jharkhand. Manoharpur is about 75 km south-west of
Chaibasa.
The village lies at an altitude of 1800 ft, and has some of the finest scenery inclusive of pine forest and peaks.
The points of interest, among many others, is the oldest Sal Tree named Saranda Queen, with a perimeter of 8 m.
