Thodikalam

Thodikalam, also spelt Thodikkulam, is a small settlement on the way to Mananthavady from Thalassery, in Kannur District. It lies around 2 km from Kannavam and 34 km south-east of Kannur.

Thodikalam Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is a prime attraction here. This 2000-years old shrine is famous for its mural paintings.

Thodikalam can be accessed by regular buses and taxies from Kannur and Thalassery. Thalassery Railway Station and Calicut Airport are the nearest railhead and airport respectively.
