Thirumoorthy Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at the foot of the Thirumoorthy Hills, adjoining the
Thirumoorthy Dam in
Coimbatore District of
Tamil Nadu. It is about 20 km from
Udumalpet on the Highway from Palani to Coimbatore. The temple is dedicated to the
Trimurti gods in Hindu mythology.
The Crocodile Farm at Amaravati Dam, Sri Amaralingeswarar temple and a waterfall in the vicinity are other places of tourist interest in the region. This place is connected by regular bus services from Udumalpet.
