Thingalur

Thingalur is located in Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu. It lies 7 km to the east of Thiruvaiyaru. A temple dedicated to the moon is situated in the place. Hence it got the name ‘Thingalur’ which means ‘abode of the moon’.
