Theosophical Society

Founded in 1875, Theosophical Society is a worldwide organization whose primary objective is universal brotherhood based on the realization of life, and all its diverse forms. The society was founded by Madame Blavatsky and Col. Olott in USA, and was moved to Adyar in 1882. The society runs a library which has a good collection of rare oriental manuscripts written on palm leaves and parchment.
