The Periyar Tiger Bungalow is ideally located near
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in
Idukki District. It is on
Kottayam-Kumily road, around 22 km from
Vandiperiyar.
Surrounded by cardamom plantations, the bungalow features three bedrooms with all required amenities. Barbecue dinner is served. Bonfire facility is also arranged. Activities include camping, boating, trekking and plantation tour. Besides, jeep safaris are organized to the sanctuary.
