The Government Law College in
Churchgate,
Mumbai, was started in 1855 under the leadership of Dr R T Reid. Formerly known as Government Law School, the college is affiliated to the
University of Mumbai. It conducts courses for securing degrees in BLS, LLB and LLM. Post graduate diploma course in Securities Law is also offered. Besides, special emphasis is given to extra-curricular activities and social services. The library within the campus has a rich collection of useful books and subscribed journals. Hostel facilities are also available.
