Thattekere is a small village noted for its cultural and natural wealth. Located in
Bangalore district, the major attraction of this village is the ancient Ranganathaswamy Temple, situated atop of a small hill at the fringe of the village.
This scenic place is also called Durvasa Kshetra, after sage Durvasas who installed the Ranganathaswamy idol and built a small temple.
