The Seethakathi Trust runs the Thassim Beevi Abdul Kader College for Women, started in 1988 at Kilkarai,
Ramanathapuram District. Affiliated to
Alagappa University, the college has been short-listed for autonomous stature. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in technical, humanities and science streams. These include computer science, mathematics, home science, food service management and dietetics, computer application, commerce and English literature.
