Thaniparai is a conservation area of 247 acre of medicinal plants located in
Tirunelveli District,
Tamil Nadu. It is named after a tribal settlement of the same name. Thaniparai has around 281 species of plants of which 149 are medicinal, including red listed species. It is a perfect place for tourists as well as pilgrims. Medicinal plants are available for sale.
