Thamaraikulam

Situated at the southern most tip of India, Thamaraikulam (also spelt Thamarakulam) is a small town in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Suchindram is situated in the north-west, Kulasekarapuram in the north, Kottaram in the south-east and Thengamputhoor in the south-west. Swamithope Ayya Vaikuntar Temple at Swamithope is the prime attraction. Nearby tourist spots include Suchindram Temple, Suchindram Kulam, Thovalai, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari Beach and Vattakottai. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Kanyakumari Railway Station serves the town. Thamaraikulam can be approached from Nagercoil and Kanyakumari by road. National Highway 47 passes through Thamaraikulam.
