Thalayazham

Thalayazham is a village in Kottayam District of Kerala. A major landmark here is the Thottagam Skanda Temple dedicated to Lord Subramanya. The temple witnesses a heavy influx of devotees during its annual festival held in the month of Dhanu (December-January). Thalayazham is around 6 km east of Vaikom, which is home to the famous Vaikom Mahadevar Temple. Some of the nearby villages include Kallara, Kaduthuruthy and Manjoor. Vaikom Road Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Cochin International Airport is the nearest airport.
