Teru-Malleshwara Temple

Teru-Malleshwara Temple is one of the ancient temples built on the right bank of the river Vedavati. It has a lofty tower and a 45 ft high lamp which is lit only once a year. The lamp comprises eight lamps which hold 10 seers of oil.

The walls of the temple are decorated with paintings. Every year a car festival is held. During this event, the large images of Lord Shiva, Parvati, and Uma-Maheshwari seated on Nandi are taken out in procession.
