Teen Darwaja is a beautiful triple-arched gateway situated at
Ahmedabad, in
Gujarat. This impressive monument was built by Sultan Ahmed Shah to serve as the royal entrance to the Maidan Shah or the Royal Square. The gateway features perfect proportions and greatly elaborate buttresses. Teen Darwaja was used by the Sultans to watch the processions from the palace to the Jama Masjid.
