Tavdi

Located on the bank of River Purna in South Gujarat State, the beautiful village Tavdi is about seven miles far from the city of Navsari. The population is nearly four to five thousand. It is believed that the ancestors of the villagers came from the north (some say from Saurastra) approximately three hundred years ago. Barrier wall, Ramji Mandir, old temple of Shiva, and temple of Rama are the attractions of the village.
