Tarajulie Tea Estate is located at Thakurbari in
Sonitpur District of
Assam. Opened in 1884, it covers an area of around 7 sq km. The name ‘Tarajulie’ is derived from two lakes, namely ‘Tara’ and ‘Julie’, which are situated in either sides of the estate.
The estate produces good quality yellowish bright tea.
