Tara Tarini Mela is organized on each Tuesday of the month of Chaitra (March – April) at
Taratarini in
Ganjam District. Celebrated at the Tara Tarini pith, this is one of the biggest fairs in
Orissa. Thousands of devotees from far and near throng here to have a
darshan of Goddess Tara Tarini.
A grand congregation takes place at the site on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
