Tapobhoomi is a spiritual center located at
Kundai in
South Goa District. It is about 20 km from
Panaji. Spread over an area of 10,000 sq m, the complex was built with the aim of uplifting poor and oppressed people.
The complex was born under divine inspiration of His Holiness Haturli Mathadhish Shrimad Brahmanand Swamiji. It consists of a datta mandir, Sanskrit pathshala, dhyaan gumfa (chamber of mediation), ayurveda centre, yoga anusandhan kendra, bhajani vidyalaya and bhaktoddhar library.
Tapobhoomi has been set up to educate mankind about its duties and responsibilities as well as, to spread the message of divine love and compassion. Indeed, the entire complex can be considered as a temple of humanity. Tapobhoomi is now a center of pilgrimage to the students of Hindu culture and religion.
