Tanda

Tanda is a small settlement lying to the north of Jammu in Jammu District. It lies at an altitude of about 918 ft above sea level. Meloala is in the north, Kirpind in the east and Bagga Zannu in the south.

Tanda can be approached by road on the way to Poonch from Jammu via Akhnoor. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, about 40 km away.
