Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University, established in 1997, is a State University located in
Chennai.
Dr Ambedkar Government Law College in Chennai; Government Law Colleges located at Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Coimbatore and Tirunelveli; and Central Law College at Salem are some the affiliated colleges.
It has also established the School of Excellence in Law and its constituent college, namely, the University Law College at Chengalpattu. Seminars and workshops are organized by the university.
