Tambdi Surla, in Sanguem taluk, at 66 km from Panaji, is in South Goa District. It is at the foot of the Ghats and is bounded by the Mollem Wildlife Sanctuary. The renowned, Shri Mahadeva Temple is situated here. It is the only remains of Kadamba-Yadava architecture in basalt stone, preserved and available in the state.
Tambdi Surla is an ideal place for bird watchers. Nearby attraction is the Dudhsagar Falls.
