Founded in 1984, Tamana (literally means a longing, an aspiration) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization for disabled and brain damaged children. It is located at

Education, rehabilitation, therapy and counseling are the services offered. Apart from these services, the children are provided with computer-aided education. Recreational outings and integrated camps are arranged.
The organization conducts research in the field of special education and training. It interacts with other organizations for the betterment of these children.
