Talasari is a tribal taluka in Thane District of Maharashtra. This place now developing gradually, was once the mainstay of the Communist Party Marxist (CPM). The Kalyan Kendra Hostel which works for the upliftment of backward tribes is situated nearby. Hajimalang Darga on Malangagad hill is in close vicinity.
