Taj-Ul-Masjid

Taj-Ul-Masjid is a beautiful mosque situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It is believed to have been built by Shah Jahan Begum (1868-1901), Bhopal's eighth ruler.

This pink towering mosque consists of an impressive main hall with inter-arched roof, three white domes and two white domed massive minarets. Broad portico, spacious courtyard and smooth marble floors add to its charm. A three-day 'Ijtima', a congregation of Muslims in India, is held at the mosque every year.
