Established by Symbiosis Society in 1993, Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) in
Pune is an institution for defense personnel and their dependants.
The institute offers two year full time autonomous management programmes including Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with specialization in the fields of marketing, finance, telecom management, information technology and international business. It also imparts one year part-time diploma and post graduate diploma programmes, and courses sponsored by the Director General of Resettlement (DGR).
Seminars, workshops and cultural programmes are organized. Besides, the college has instituted several awards and scholarships to encourage the students.
