Syed Mohammad Gabi Shrine, a Muslim pilgrimage center, is located at
Kupwara. Lying near the Jamia Masjid, this magnificent mosque is highly revered by Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs. Prayers and other religious ceremonies are conducted at Syed Mohammad Gabi Shrine regularly.
It is belive that Syed Mohammad was one of the Sadats who came to Jammu and Kashmir with Shah Hamdan.
