Ramanathapuram Highway, Syed Ammal Engineering College was established in 1998. Founded by Dr. E. M. Abdullah, the institute offers under graduate courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech Information Technology. Facilities include well equipped centralized computer centre, spacious and well furnished classrooms, excellent lab facilities, language lab for developing communication skills and separate hostel facilities for ladies and gents.
