Suwasra is located in the southeastern part of Mandsaur District in Madhya Pradesh. It is about 45 km east of Mandsaur, the district headquarters.

Kota Airport and Devi Ahilya Bai Holeker Airport are the nearest airports. Suwarsa Railway Station is on the Kota – Nagda rail route.
