Sutrapada Sun Temple is an ancient temple situated at
Sutrapada, near
Somnath, in
Junagadh District.
The temple is distinguished from the other temples in the western India, by the rudimentary form of the northern shikhara. It has a sanctum with an ambulatory. The architecture and design of the temple indicates that it to be one among the temples of the 8th century.
