Sutrapada

Sutrapada is a taluk headquarters, situated near Somnath in Junagadh District of Gujarat. It is located to the east of Veraval and to the west of Kodinar. Prime tourist attraction is the Sun Temple. This 8th century temple is distinct by the rudimentary form of the northern shikhara. The renowned Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is another interesting destination. Keshod Airport and Veraval Railway Station serve Sutrapada.
