Surla

Surla, about 7 km from Pale, is in the southern part of Bicholim taluk, in North Goa District. It is near the border of Bicholim and Sattari taluks. Vaguriem is 7 km east and Volvoi is 2 km away. It is one of the prominent mining towns in the district.

Shri Navadurga Temple at Pale, Arvalem Waterfalls, Pandava Caves and Madei Wildlife Sanctuary are easily accessible from here.

Goa Airport is the nearest airport. Karmali Railway Station serves Surla.
