Surat Ashram

Surat Ashram is associated with the Datta Peetham and is located on the outskirts of Surat on Dumas Road. This ashram houses a beautiful Datta temple built by Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda.

The temple resembles the distinctive Gujarati style of architecture. Dedicated to Lord Dattatreya and Anagha Devi, the temple also has separate niches for Lord Ganesh, Subramanya, Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Surya and Lord Hanuman. Surat Ashram also houses a prayer hall, dining hall and a yaga shala. Two large Audumbara trees are the other interesting aspects in the ashram.
