Sunam is an ancient town situated 15 km south of
Sangrur in
Punjab.
This town was blessed by the visit of Guru Nanak Sahib, the founder of Sikhism. A gurdwara has been built here, at the site of the residence where is stayed, to preserve the memory of his visit. It is now known as Gurdwara Mohalla.
Nearest airport is Ludhiana Airport.
Sunam Railway Station is on the
Gurna-Sangrur line.
