Summer Festival commences with a charming ballad, accompanied by various cultural programs of
Rajasthan. It is celebrated in
Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan. The festival is held in the month of May and June and lasts for three days. Summer Festival is mainly devoted to the folk dances of Rajasthan and
Gujarat such as Gair, Ghoomar and Dhap.
Major attractions of the festival are a boat race on the
Nakki Lake and roller skating race. A show of dazzling fireworks marks the grand finale of the festival.
