Sulabh International Museum of Toilets




Sulabh International Museum of Toilets is located at Palam Dabri Marg in New Delhi, the political nerve center and capital city of India. Founded by Dr Bindeshwar Pathak in 1994, it is a part of Sulabh International Social Service Organization. The museum has been established to educate students about the historical trends in the development of toilets, provide information to researchers and help the sanitation experts to solve problems.

The museum holds details about the evolution of toilets and various toilet designs used in different countries on different times. There is a rare collection of facts, pictures and objects detailing the historic evolution of toilets from 2,500 BC onwards.

The museum is open from 10:00 to 17:00 hrs except on Sundays and national holidays.
