The attractive Sukhnag Spring, formerly Sokhanag, is located near
Tosamaidan in
Badgam District of
Jammu and Kashmir.It is a natural spring and emerges from hard and neatly packed rocks.
This round-the-year-flowing spring is the chief source of the Ahij Brook. Before mingling with other small streams to form the Ahij, the Sukhnag Spring flows through mountain terrain and transforms into a 20 ft high roaring waterfall at Kanj Zubji. Ahij Brook is further divided into many small streams such as
Mala Kol,
Laen Kol and Sona Maen Kol, watering many villages of Beerwah.
