Sudarshanam Netra Chikitsalayam is an ayurvedic eye hospital located at Manjadi in
Thiruvalla. It offers ophthalmic treatments, which are quite unique in the field of
Ayurveda. The center was established in 1990 by Chandra Sekhara Saraswati Swamigal, the late Paramacharya of Kanchi Kama Kodi Peedom.
Treatments are available for eye disorders like refractive error, uveitis, corneal disorders, and various diseases related to vitreous and retina. Kashayadhara, nasyam, tarpana, putapaka, pichu, shashtika sweda, talam, sirodhara, sirovasti and yakrut seva are among the treatment methods. Accommodation and diagnostic facilities are also arranged for the patients.
