Stree Aadhar Kendra (Women's Support Center), an organization at
Pune in
Maharashtra, started its activities in the early 1980’s. It aims to protect and promote the rights of women and works towards achieving equal status for women. In order to solve the problems faced by women, they have implemented projects related to mainstreaming, family counseling, rehabilitation, poverty, equality, empowerment and development.
