Strait is a small island located on the north of
South Andaman Island. The Great Andamanese, a primitive tribe of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is rehabilitated in this island. The tribes live in semi-pucca wooden houses with corrugated tin roofs. They cultivate vegetables.
