Stone Bridge is located at Thlumuwi in
Jaintia Hills District of
Meghalaya. It lies on the Jowai-Dawki road, 16 km from Jowai.
The bridge was built by U Mar Phalyngki and U Luh Lyngskor Lamare under the order of the Jaintia King. It was made of immense slabs of stone supported upon huge, tall stone pillars. One of the stone slabs was broken during the present century.
Thlumuwi Stream with the cascading Muwi Waterfall overlooking the stone bridge presents an imposing sight.
