Stok Guru Tsechu is a festival celebrated in Stok village in the Ladakh region of Leh District, Jammu and Kashmir. This ceremony is held in the small monastery of Gurphug. It takes place on the 9th and 10th days of the first month of the Tibetan Lunar Calendar (February or March). During this festival, the monks of Spituk Monastery perform sacred dances.
