State Highway 38 links the coastal village of Puthiyangadi with Chovva bye-pass in
Kannur District. State Highway 38 starts at Puthiyangadi in
Kozhikode District and runs north-bound touching Ulleri, Perambra and Kuttiyadi, then turns north-west and runs past Nadapuram and Thuneri to enter Kannur District. In Kannur, the highway passes through Erikkur, Panoor and
Koothuparamba, before ending on the Chovva bye-pass. State Highway 38 has a total length of 43 km, spanned across the two districts.
