State Highway 33 is a 92 km-long stretch that runs from
Thodupuzha on State Highway 8 up to Puliyanmala, in
Idukki District. State Highway 33 starts at Thodupuzha junction and runs past Muttom, Kuruthikulam and Meenmutty to reach
Painavu, the distance traveled being 40 km. It then turns south-east and passes through Narakakanam and
Kattappana, before ending at Puliyanmala, on the State Highway 19.
