Star Monument

Star Monument, often referred to as 'real paradise on earth', is one of the better known structures in the country. It is located within Radhaswami Satsang Bhawan, in Dinaud, about 12 km from Bhiwani, Haryana.

Star Monument, 88 ft high, is a hexagonal pyramid, with its sides in the shape of a star. Of the six sides, three are covered in white marbles and the other three in Italian glass. A unique feature of the building is that it is not supported by any pillars or columns. This monument is named after Tara Chand Param Sant Huzur Tara Chand ji who was fondly called Maharaj ji by his followers.

Star Monument houses the Samadhi of Maharaj ji, which is erected on a rectangular platform in the center, with the paintings depicting the life of Maharaj ji on the six corners of the Samadhi. The statue of Maharaj ji can be seen near the western wall. Apart from this, there is a holy well and a small landscaped garden around the monument, with a small hut in which Maharaj ji used to meditate. Wonderful fountains, marble paths and exquisite flowers of vivid hues and colors add to the splendor of the Samadhi.
