Stakspi La is a 4,970 m high mountain pass in Ladakh region of
Leh District. The pass is an ideal base for trekking and is an interesting site in Lamayuru-Alchi trek.
The pass offers breathtaking views of the Indus Valley, Ladakh region and the Karakoram ranges. The pass descends to a valley and then to Alchi Village. The famous Likir Monastery and Alchi Gompa are located nearby.
