St Peter's Church is situated in the coastal town of
Bheemunipatnam of
Andhra Pradesh. It was built in the 19th century by the Dutch and was later renovated by the British. Consecrated in 1864, the church is described as the jewel in the wilderness. The church has stained glass decorations depicting the crucifixion of Jesus. The marble plaques in the shape of a scroll form the major attraction in the church.
