St Mary's Church is about 3 km from Perumbavoor town at Thuruthiply in
Ernakulam District. Managed by Antioch Patriarch and metropolitan of Angamaly diocese, this Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian church worships the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The church has various organizations - Sunday school, vanitha samajam (Women's organization), social service league, youth league and conventions to enrich spiritual and social development of the devotees. Ettunombu Perunal and Virgin Mary's birth feast are celebrated in September. A large number of devotees from various places visit the church and offer the 'Madyastha Prarthana' (special prayers to get blessings.)
The church has a pain and palliative care center named Snehabhavan, where service is offered only for the poor.
