One of the well-known ancient churches of Kerala, St Mary's Cathedral is situated in Ernakulam, the nerve center of Kochi city. Established in 1112 AD, the church is dedicated to Our Lady of Ports. This unique and imposing structure was raised to the status of a Baslica in 1974.
