St Joseph Church is located at Ponmalai,
Tiruchirapalli. The church was founded by the late Rt Rev Msgr Joseph Alphonse de Rozario and he was the main architect of the church. The speciality of the church is its gigantic spires and the impressive and majestic appearance. It is opposite the historic armory gate of Ponmalai workshop. The church was dedicated to Rozario on March 30, 1930.
