St James Church, also known as the English Church, is an ancient church built in 1825. It lies near the jail reservoir and the Thane Head Post Office in
Thane town in
Maharashtra.
The church is now under the control of Bombay Diocesan Trust Association. Both English and
Marathi (the official language of Maharashtra) services are available on Sundays.
